Pinterest...

I am obsessed! Seriously! If you are not a member, you should be! It is AWESOME! If you are a member follow me so I can stalk....errrr.....follow you:)! I am really working on sitting aside some time for all the ideas that I am pinning! My favs are the free printables for organization and decor. I am also a sucker for the sayings. I literally LOL while I read for them! Well, there is my plug (and no I was not reimbursed for my promotion :)). I know I am late to the Pinterest party, but hey at least I made it:)!

***more odds & ends****

Why is it that I have tons of things to record until I sit down to do it and then I can't think of one thing? That is until I hit publish!
* EG refused to participate in an activity for the church Christmas play because they didn't have a pink Shepard's robe. She wouldn't do it for love nor money.
*Boo isn't happy about not going to school this year. He won't start for two years, hopefully we can get him into a preschool or mdo soon!
*I am adjusting to the responsibility of having a school kid to get ready every morning and a folder to sign and read every afternoon!
*I asked EJ who she played with at school and she said "You know Mom we really hardly ever get to play." That is so true they get about 40 min of free play a day, that is it!
*EJ thinks it is so funny that there is a girl in her class named Becky, because that is her NeNa's name!

Ready for Fall?

Yes, I am! I thought maybe if I changed my blog background it would hurry up and get here already!

Hillbilly handfishin & Such!

Tidbits that I hope to never forget! After all, these are the best days of my life! I work, although hardly ever, in a Geriatric Psychiatric unit. Ever single one of my sweet patients tell me these are the days I will miss, I whole heartily agree!
*Boo is obsessed with Hillbilly Hand fishing. It is by far his favorite show, not that he watches much T.V.:). He can't wait to get to go. Boo wants to ride his motorcycle there. G is going to make me gray headed.
*EG is too funny! She loves to wear dresses and is super prissy. She will prance around in front of people until they tell her she is pretty.
*EG calls H baby Saul.
*EJ seems to mature daily, not exaggerating at all.
*She loves all things bright and sparkly! Emery Jai has serious opinions on her hair, her clothes, everything!
*Guice is our little super hero! He pretend flies around Wal-Mart.
*EG claws Boo & EJ's faces off. Yes, you read that right. The nickname Dragon was hard earned.
*EJ announced to everyone at kindergarten open house that her mommy said "school lunches are pure junk and buses are death traps". I wanted to d-i-e!
*Boo & EJ are now allowed to play games on my computer. It amazes me how quickly kids pick up new things!

EJ's first week!

Emery Jai had a wonderful first week of kindergarten! She loves it! EJ asked if she could sleep there and is slightly disappointed that she has Saturday and Sunday off. We love her teacher, Mrs, Taylor. She was our favorite during kindergarten camp, how lucky are we that we got her?!? She told me how much she loves Emery Jai's name, she has a daughter (14) named Avery Jo. Cute! She totally gets the two name thing:) Mrs. Taylor is super sweet! I am so pleased with how well EJ is adapting to school, not surprised at all! She is very outgoing and self assured little girl, I pray she carries that with her forever! She even stuck up for a little boy when other people were making fun of him. I LOVE being her mommy! So proud of her! She is having some symptoms of over stimulation. EJ is over emotional and super sensitive. Praying this passes quickly. Boo & EG miss her a ton during the day! It is an adjustment for everyone, for sure!

Look what Guice can do!!!

Such a little smarty pants! He did only want to write Guyboo or Peter Parker. We have been making a point of calling him Guice more and after about a week he decided it would be okay to write Guice. Glad he came around:)!

38 Years!!

Happy Anniversary to my amazing parents!! Although, I do not say it near enough but we are so appreciative of everything you guys do to make our lives that much better!!

5 Months!!

avocados!! Yummmyyyyyyyyy!

H wrestling with his playmat!
Chubby!! LOVE all the rolls and dimples!

Hollister Timothy is changing every day! This is SUCH a sweet age! He laughs all the time! Is such an easy going happy baby! He rolls across the floor, I do not remember my others being this rolly! H scoots and army crawls (I know, at 5 months!! ). Pair his rolling and his scooting and we have a mobile baby! He gets into everything already! I have started giving him bites of food here and there. Nothing consistent, if he shows interest in what we are eating I will give him little bites of avocado or banana or carrots and potatoes.....and a bit of gravy:) He has been waking up a bit more at night. No more 9 hour stretches of interrupted sleep. A bit sad to see that go! He is breastfed! I am sure he will be for at least another year or so. Maybe longer who really knows! I am glad he will take a bottle of pumped milk! Soooooo nice to have a bit of a break! Hollister went to NeNa's for a couple of hours on Sunday. He was such a big boy and loved it! EG wasn't a huge fan of him being there, up until Sunday she was the baby at Pop & NeNa's. His eyes are getting a bit darker and his hair has a ton of red in it but isn't really red. Only time will tell what color his eyes will be and his hair!! We are so enjoying him and his sweet baby self!

Open House!

EJ had her kindergarten open house, where is my little girl?!?! It went great! I really really LOVE her teacher! EJ didn't want to go at first because NeNa was watching the other ones for me and she wanted to stay home with her. We finally got her talked into going :). I was under (the wrong) impression that we would just show up see the classroom and leave. Nope. There was a whole presentation! Which basically boils down to....Kindergarten is serious business (not at all like when we went), they will have home work, we must help our kid everyday or they will get behind, if they do not know letters, how to write their name, number and such they are already behind. YIKES! The school she goes to is rolling out a brand new curriculum this year, the teachers made the point (more than once) that it is not an easy one. I am excited about it! EJ is going to do awesome! She is very bright and will not have any problems! I, on the other hand, am freakin out about having to keep up with the daily folder and all that jazz:)! Looking forward to this new and extremely exciting chapter! We are parents to a school aged kid! Aren't we a little young for all that :)! LOL!

*I didn't get any pics because EJ told me it wasn't allowed....

Chuck E Cheese!

Movin' & Groovin' with Chuck!
Sweet sisters!
All my boys!
LOVE LOVE LOVE G's face in this pic! It is so him:)
Kids having a blast!
Ever LOVED the band!
Kiddos checking it out!
Boo chowing down!
Daddy with his girls!!
Our Dragon!
The HEAT is driving us all a bit crazy this summer! I can't count how many times we have gone to the jump zone! We are all over this season and beyond ready for FALL! This was our kiddo's first time at Chuck E Cheese! They had a blast! We hung out there in the AIR CONDITIONING for over 3 hours! Good times!

Found this interesting....

So I am sure everyone that reads the blog knows by now that I make my own baby food (yes, I am one of those moms:)) Anyway, saw ThisLink and wanted to share!
Your welcome:)!

i took a little vaca

It wasn't to a remote beach or any where equally majestic and I didn't spend my days shopping or exploring but it was a vacation none the less, even if it was to a mental ward :). I went to work for the week! NeNa & Josh took shifts with EJ, G, EG, and I took H with me. I couldn't have done it without my parents helping with the older kiddos! A family from our old church took care of Hollister, they spoiled him rotten! I might get my SAHM card revoked for this, BUT it was nice to get out of the house and WORK! For me, the hardest thing about staying home is not the one income it is being home day after day. It was fantastic to feel like I was making a difference (yes, I know I am raising kids the best job ever blah blah blah :)). I filled in as the Activity Therapist for a Geriatric Psychiatric unit. I absolutely LOVED it! Okay, now sit down and take a deep breath, ready....I didn't feel guilty or miss my children to the point of tears! There I admit it! It was fun & just what I needed!

Take 5....

and listen to my new favorite song! Getting back to basics people, back to basics.

It is Great I am by New Life Worship
I wanna to be close close to your side
So heaven is real and death is alive
I wanna hear voices of angels above
Singing as one

Hallelujah Holy Holy
God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy
None beside Thee
God Almighty
Great I Am

I wanna be near near to your heart
Loving the world hating the dark
I want to see dry bones living again
Singing as one

Chorus
Hallelujah
Holy Holy
God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy
None beside Thee
God Almighty
Great I Am

He's the Great I Am Great I Am

The mountains shake before Him
The demons run and flee
At the mention of the name
King of Majesty
There is no power in hell
Or any who can stand
Before the power and the presence of the Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am

(Chorus)

Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am

The mountains shake before Him
The demons run and flee
At the mention of the name
King of Majesty
There is no power in hell
Or any who can stand
Before the power and the presence of the Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am

(chorus)
the Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am

If I had payed more attention in 7th grade English I would know whether or not I needed to use italics or these cool things " " however I was too busy passing notes to one Miss Lindsay Mallett, so I am clueless. Funny enough I bet Lindsay knows....hmmm....

Forward facing!

We switched her around the day after her second birthday & these are the best pics I got:)!

Party Party Party!!

EG wasn't a huge fan of our singing. She was a bit shy about it.
G blowing out his candles!
He LOVED his transformer cake. I was a bit worried because he wanted the one off of Cake Boss, you know, the life size transformer that "fired up"!
We sang Happy Kindergarten to EJ:)

Evergrace's Dragon cake! She loved it:)
EJ's cake!
Evergrace & Annette
Partying :)
Our dragon!
Birthday Boy!
Madison!
Guyboo & the cakes!
Opening Gifts!

Kiddo's had a blast at their party! NeNa did a GREAT job! Boo insisted on being called Birthday Boy the whole day! LOL! He really enjoyed being the center of attention! He is such a big boy! He made sure to say thank you after his gifts, so proud of our man! Evergrace was a dragon, as always. She didn't want to wear a party hat because it wasn't pink. The funniest part of the party was when she was wearing her prized high heels and I turned on the crawling baby she got (which she loves as long as it isn't crawling :)) and started screaming "Baby is getting my high heels, Baby is getting my high heels!!" Too funny! If we had it on video we would be rich :)! On the other had, we would have gotten her screaming "I don't like it!" when we were trying to get her to open a gift. For the record, She did love the dress she was preoccupied wanting her high heels opened. EJ also got her fair share of gifts, couldn't leave her out:)!

Typical Evergrace....

She threw a huge fit because she didn't like what NeNa was wearing to church. Nope, not joking. She wanted her to wear different shoes, flip flops, and did not like her shirt. She is a NUT!
