G & his super sucker!

I have to say I LOVE our church family! After G's fall on Thursday, we had tons of people texting, calling, and most importantly praying for our little man! Scott (G's favorite at church:), got him this sucker for "knockin' his head"! Guice has been telling everyone about knockin' his head and going to the doctor. Guice probably thinks the fall was worth the sucker:)! Personally, I believe I should get a gift! The whole thing took YEARS off my life!

35 Week Appt!

Today was my 35 week Dr. appointment, hence the title of my post:)! Everything with our little one is looking great! My blood pressure was amazing 107/70! I had not gained any weight, I did ask this time:). I did measure, a little big, huge actually! 42 cms! Dr. M is not worried so I am trying not to be. I am not worried about the size of the baby, I am worried about excess fluid being an indicator something is not right with our baby. Her heart rate was fantastic in the 140's. I am GBS negative, so no antibiotics during labor. I am having MAJOR swelling! My new bling does not even fit, glad I did not splurge on the $20 ring:)! The only shoes I can wear are flip flops and then I have to force them between my toes! All a very small price to pay for a precious little one! Also, the swelling is from the heat, not high blood pressure. So, nothing remotely serious just uncomfortable. I think that is about it. We are so very thankful for this pregnancy! I am so close to the end it almost does not seem real! Around 9 weeks we never thought we would see this day, we are so thankful. I can't say it enough!

Waitin' in the rain.....

Pop & NeNa came in for a visit, the kids could not wait to see them! They waited outside in the rain! It is really the first time in a couple of days that they have been able to play outside, it has been so very hot! While Pop & NeNa made their way to our house EJ & G took advantage of slightly cooler temps and a little rain! Pop & NeNa took EJ back with them, they are going to horse progress days in Indiana for the week! EJ is so very excited! EJ wants to order pizza, sit in the floor of the hotel room, and watch her shows:)! She is convinced she is bringing home a puppy and a pony! Guice did not get to go this year, don't worry he is not the least bit upset! Undivided attention from his mommy, for G it does not get any better than that! He is undeniably a mama's boy, and I personally love every second of it!
Splashing in the rain! EJ dancing in the rain!

Hurry up Pop! Hurry up NeNa!

Super Cool Goodies!!

Pop & NeNa are in town, they came with GIFTS! I LOVE my new diaper bag (so much so I want to go ahead and start carrying it:))! Also, I got the coolest sling for our new little one, it is silk! So gorgeous! Can't wait until our newest blessing is snuggled in it!
Love the bag! Not babyish at all! The picture does not do it justice! It is amazing!

Now all we need is a baby!

Guice takes a little trip....to the ER!

First I have to say he is okay! He fell this morning, off a small chair, and hit his head. He had a seizure and vomited and passed out! Yes, it scared me too death! I was about to call 911, when he "came out" of it. He as stunned for about 10 min then acted fine. Josh had come home, I called him hysterical. I called his doctors office to ask what I should do. If you are one of my 7 blog readers, you know this has happened before. The ER physician, that time told us it was a nerve reaction, not a big deal. If you saw him have a "reaction", you would for sure think it was a big deal! Anyway, the office called me back and had me take him straight to the ER. Basically, this time we were told that he is having seizures due to an interruption of brain activity. We are taking him to Children's for a consult with a Paediatric Neurologist. We do not have a date set just yet, I will keep you posted!
He was such a big boy for the Doctor! He has only been to a doctor for his well child checkups and one other trip to the ER, such a healthy healthy guy! Anyway, I was a little worried how he would handle it, he was amazing!
Please keep our little man in your prayers!!

Resting at home after an eventful day!

Practicing for baby!

I got another glimpse of life with 3 under 4! As I suspected the youngest was the easiest, it was the two oldest (particularly the redhead:) that gave me issues! Emery Jai wanted to do everything for him and was upset when she could not walk around holding him. Guice was also a huge help. When our baby gets here looks like I will have all the help I need! EJ changed her mind, she now wants a baby brother:). I told her it was a little late in the game, we are sure it is a girl. She said "fine, the next one is going to be a boy!" They did puppet shows and read books to him, they asked if we could keep him! They are so ready for a baby in the house, at least they think they are:)!
EJ and sweet baby Daxx! G & Daxx

G excited that he gets to hold him, EJ mad that it is not her turn!
I bet Daxx went home and slept like a rock!

34 Weeks & 5 Days!

Two words for you......MAN HANDS!

That about sums it up:)! I am hot and swollen and trying desperately to remember, not only in words but in actions, how incredibly blessed I am! I really do not want to whine or complain about being pregnant. I KNOW there are lots of women who would kill to be in my spot, middle of summer or not! I want to finish out this pregnancy with the same amount of joy I started it with! We are ONLY 4-8 weeks out from our newest Anderson member!

Happy Fathers Day!

Joshua,
No matter how much I try I would never be able to convey how much I honor and treasure you, not only as my husband but as the father of my children! Emery Jai, Guice, and monkey on the way are unbelievability blessed to have a such a great Dad! You show them daily what is most important in life, you put God first I am so glad they get that lesson first hand. I am so proud of you for following God's calling in your life. You are a great provider, which is a good thing because, well you know, your the only one providing:)! Thank you for being so very involved with our children from reading, teaching, playing, and so on!
I love you beyond words!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSHUA!!

Happy birthday to my AMAZING husband! I am a very lucky woman! I hope you have a wonderful day, sorry it includes work and grocery shopping:)!

Hope year 26 is the best yet!

Spending time with Pa Pa & Memaw!

Last night we went out to Pa Pa & Memaw's for some wonderful taco's and so they could spoil our kiddo's! EJ & G love going to see them! Whats not to love? Pa Pa & Memaw have Oliver, chickens, pigs, and a huge garden! They love the animals, as we were leaving EJ told Olie, "Now your coming home with me!" He did not get to come with us but maybe he can stay the night soon:). The kids picked and ate fresh strawberries!
Emery Jai looking too cute for words!
Feeding the chickens! EJ spanking a chicken:)!

Cool Car Seat!

As you may or may not know, I am a huge advocate of car seat safety! Emery Jai STILL rides in a 5 point harness (she meets the height and weight requirements for a booster, but 5 point harnesses are SO much safer!) and will until she is 60 lbs. G has the same car seat, so he will be equally as restricted:)!
The AAP now recommends rear facing car seats to 40 lbs. This car seat is then forward facing to 64 lbs! This is really the only seat our little one will need! Really, the only draw back I have read about is that it is not a carrier. This is not an issue for us b/c I wear our babies! We had a convertible with Guice and loved it. We never used our carrier seat that we had for EJ, just took her out and use a sling. I am also a huge advocate of baby wearing:)! Other great features of the My Ride 65 include:
its side impact protection (SIP) tested for “occupant retention by the harness system” and constructed with EPS energy-absorbing foam
in addition to the mandatory National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) sticker on the base of the seat, there’s also labels on the side of the seat in an easier to read location that reminds you of the weight and height limits for each set-up
there are two LATCH belts (one for rear- and one for forward-facing) so you don’t need to re-thread them when it’s time to turn the seat around
when the seat rear-faces, there’s a deep recline so baby’s head doesn’t flop forward
the 5-point harness adjusts from the front, something inexpensive car seats typically don’t include
infants will be super comfy with the infant insert, while bigger kids will like the toddler headrest and two built-in cup holders

33 WK APPT!

All is well! It was an exciting appointment, only because I took both of the kiddos! I thought it would be just a "regular", as in I would keep all my clothes on, appointment. No such luck! I had my Group B Strep test today. The kids reactions were priceless:). Anyway, everything looks great! I am measuring 38 cms, this makes me feel so much better about feeling and looking so very preggers! I am a little worried that at 38 I will measure 42! That would be miserable! We (Dr. M, Sabrina, and I) are, apparently, on a "don't ask don't tell" policy when it comes to my weight. I am GREAT with that:)! My blood pressure was wonderful at 120/70! Her heart rate was great 150's. She was super active during the appointment. Dr M & Sabrina felt her kick. She is head down and has no room to turn. I go back in two weeks the it will be every week! Our baby will be here soon!

33 WKS 4 DAYS!

Nothing new to report.....just VERY pregnant with about 2 months to go! I have no delusions that I will go into labor naturally at 37 wks. I am sure I am in for the long haul! Dr. M will let me go a full 42 weeks! Only time will tell. I really want to go into labor on my own as I did with G. EJ's induction was terrible! She was 10 days overdue. Anyway, I am all for this little one declaring her own day of birth! I really pray that Joshua and I (along with the kids I guess:) are in our own house by then! That would be a huge relief, HUGE! Although, moving at 8 plus months preggers would not be much fun it would be worth it!
Also, why do people make the rudest comments? I mean REALLY! I KNOW I am HUGE! I get it. Most moms do not grow out of their maternity clothes, I know that. Currently my belly is hanging out of the bottom of most of my X-Large tops. I do not require the observations of others to know that I am larger than average! Okay, so maybe I am also a little grumpy!
Our (name-less) Monkey!

How your baby's growing:This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

Weekend Recap!!

We had a wonderful weekend! Pop & NeNa came in early Thursday and stayed with us until Sunday! The kids had a blast! Pop & NeNa took them everywhere, EJ & G ate it up! Pop caught the kids a turtle, I know poor turtle. EJ & G fixed a little box for it and fed Charlotte's Web (EJ named him). Unfortunately Daddy put the box outside the next day so Charlotte's Web could get some sun and he ran away! So sad:). I bet the turtle was on the move! We ate out every single meal, again the kids loved that! They went on the mountain and rode the train for the first time, you guessed it they loved it:)! The kiddos were sad that they had to go back to Conway, but will be seeing them very soon. EJ & G are staying next weekend with them in central AR! So, not long at all!
Thanks Pop & NeNa for a GREAT weekend!

i did not take a single pic, for shame!!!!

32 WKS 4 DAYS!

Some where around 52 days to go! The arrival of our second daughter, third child is getting very very close! I am feeling very huge, because I am:)! I will get another belly pic up soon. I can tell you that I am not the only one who thinks I am growing a giant, everyone is in agreement. When this kid weighs a staggering 6 lbs, I will laugh hysterically!
Nothing very exciting going on. Just feeling very pregtastic! Can't sleep, heartburn, and all that fun stuff. I am very thankful for every second of it! It all leads up to our baby getting here!
About our baby....
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb.

still no name, might be a surprise this time:)!

Pic Game!

This is it! My 1st folder 10th pic! I was tagged by lindsay. There is not a huge story behind it, I was playing around with pyzam game things.

Puppet Show!!

Sunday night our church had a puppet show! Have I mentioned how much my kids love puppets?! They had a ball! After every song Guice would ask if there was going to be more. EJ sat perfectly still and might not have even blinked!

Puppets! EJ enjoying the show!

Guice Clapping along...

Lum & Abner!

I attended my very first Lum & Abner fest! It was an experience, not near as big as Toad Suck. I was a little disappointed at the lack of carnie food! I was craving something on a stick:)! But, on the bright side we got out of the house for the afternoon. EJ & G loved the music and dancing! We also met up with Scott, Amanda, and their kiddos for dinner. So, it was not a total bust:).

Baby Daxx Visits!

We had the privilege of keeping sweet little baby Daxx this morning, his mommy needed to rest. He was too precious! He is very newbornish, my babies were not. He just slept and stretched and ate. My little monkeys never acted newbornish, so it was fun to have one for a while:). EJ & G loved him! They fought over who got to hold him, feed him, and rub his head. Daxx took all the attention like a pro! Emery Jai put on a dress for the occasion, it is a huge deal when she wears clothes around the house:)! Guice seemed so huge to me after holding Daxx, there is only a 30 lb weight difference:). Around nap time Guice got a little fussy, he went to the door and said "Baby, bye bye". I was very impressed with how well they did, hope all goes well when #3 arrives!!
EJ's turn! G helping out with the bink! EJ had a blast playing mommy!

G being "easy", well as easy as he gets!

31 Week Appointment!

My appointment was delayed a day due to a crazy man and side mirrors:)! I clicked mirrors with a guy on my way to Dr. M's, no damage was done but he insisted on calling the police! So, I had to reschedule for today.
Our littlest girl looked great today! We are so thankful! I am measuring a big but only by a few cm's, no need for a scan! Here are the stats!
cm: 33
b/p: 100/70
weight: did not ask they did not tell:)!
heart rate: 140's

I go back in two weeks, praying everything stays this uneventful!

My little mess maker!

G's most recent mess.....pouring a whole bottle of cooking oil over himself as well as the cabinets, floors, and everything else!
