PARTY PLANS...

Guice's 2nd birthday is coming up in less than a week! I can't believe that my baby is going to be two! Josh and I decided to postpone his big bash until the baby gets here and we get more settled. We are going to do a very small party at Pop & NeNa's. The major celebration will be a little later. I am hoping for August but it could be September!

Only Emery Jai...

EJ put together her outfit then announced she looks just like a teacher! She has such an imagination, it is endless!

playing baby!

EJ & G are practicing in full force for our new arrival! They are taking turns playing baby! So cute! I pray that they stay this excited. Hey, with God all things are possible!!

Weekly Appointment!

Well it is short and sweet NO CHANGE! I was super upset, in the worst mood! I have now calmed down and know that the baby will come eventually in her own perfect time! I truly do not want to be induced. Only when I get super tired and uncomfortable, which is most of the time. I really do not remember all the other details of the appointment heart rate fundus height etc.... I was so busy fighting back tears! It seems a little silly now, whats another week or two maybe even three in the grand plan?
I am back at my parents for a week or so then will be home until miss priss decides to grace us with her debut!

38 weeks!

I have to be honest, I feel miserable! I am so ready! You know all that stuff I said about going into labor naturally? Scratch it! At this point I would buy pitocin off the black market! I am so ready! I am not having any signs of labor or anything happening anytime soon. Yes, I know my water could break at any time or the contractions could start but I am not holding my breath! I am doing my best to stay positive, it just is not working this morning. I am very grateful for this pregnancy, but like any good thing ready for it to come to an end:)! I can't wait to see and hold this little one! I am still in shock that she has hair! Everything is just about ready. I need to work on my birth plan some more. All I really have to do is cut and paste Guice's, I guess I should take out the no circumcision part that might be a little confusing. We have not finalized plans for the hospital as far as the visitor situation. With our two previous babies we only had my mom & dad there. Dad was not there for G, he was taking care of EJ. They were there a very limited amount. They stayed only about 1 hr after birth if that and did not come back the next day. I know Mom & Dad will be coming in to take care of the kiddo's. At this point we are leaning towards having visitors after the birth but that is not concrete at this point. It really depends on how we are feeling and how the labor goes. Plus, I will admit it, I am a baby hog! I want to hold her constantly! That bonding time is so important to me. I am not a fan of passing the baby around, there I said it. I just want to hold her! Also, it is crucial time for breastfeeding, which I will most definitely be doing in case you were wondering:)! So, basically we are not sure about visitors we still have details to work out. Other than that we are good to go! Well, that and we need to pack bags, install the car seat, get a going home outfit........so almost:)!

We ordered this co sleeper cocoon for Evergrace! It is MiMi's gift for her newest grandchild! I hope she likes it and sleep all night in it:)! A little bit about our monkey!

She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which you'll soon be able to test when you hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb. Wondering what color your baby's eyes will be? If she's born with brown eyes, they'll likely stay brown. If she's born with steel gray or dark blue eyes, they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time she's 9 months old.

okay, i am laughing about the 6.8 lb part! But, you never know, she could be a tiny one. Hopefully we will find out soon!

Update on Guice!

We FINALLY got an appointment scheduled with Children's. Thankfully, we were able to schedule all the tests and the doctor visit on the same day. August 20th will be a very busy day for our little guy! Please keep him in your prayers!

EJ & G!

Honestly, my kiddo's rarely are ever dressed or if they are it is in what they picked and here lately G picks dresses:). So, the other day they had on "real" clothes and just happened to have their hair brushed so we took some picks:)!
EJ she is so cute and I can't believe she is 31/2! All smiles all of the time!

Kisses from brother!

Returning the favor!

Super cute kiddos!

Baby Shower!

I was blessed with a wonderful shower from our church! Everything was great! Holli did such an amazing job. She is so very crafty! We got tons of great stuff but my favorite part was when all the ladies gathered around and prayed for us! Now all we need is our baby!
The Anderson Family! Hollli & I! I am laughing hysterically because she could hide behind my belly!

Me & Evergrace! Holli made the banner, how cute is that??

Super cute banner, it needed its own pic:)!

Weekly Appointment!

It was okay, I was really hoping to have progressed more but was unchanged. So still 1 cm. Everything looks great though. No weight gain, blood pressure was 115/70, heart rate 130's, and I am measuring an incredible 44 cm's!

I have 2 words for you.....

FULL-TERM!

Spending time in CA!

Of course by CA i am referring to central Arkansas:)! I came to pick up EJ, she has spent the last week with Pop & NeNa in Indiana at horse progress days. She had a blast. I could hardly get her to talk to me on the phone, she was having so much fun. NeNa took several really cute pictures but I can't seem to get them up loaded. EJ's favorite was a pen full of baby rabbits! Now, just guess what she wants for her birthday.....yep, a rabbit! When I showed up on Tuesday I had envisioned a huge tear filled reunion. Not so much. I was lucky to get a "hi mom"! When did she get so big? Anyway, we are basically just hanging out all day. Nothing super exciting. I am very much enjoying not cooking or cleaning! The kids love being here with Pop & NeNa, it is very much their home away from home. We will be heading back tomorrow and then returning after my appointment on Tuesday. We are spending quite a bit of time here until the baby arrives, I find that I need a lot of help here lately. But, all for a good cause:)!

Have I mentioned how thankful we are, if you have not noticed we are so very thankful!!!

Happy 4th of July!

Photobucket

ultrasound....

Yesterday I had a scan to check growth and amniotic fluid levels. We have a very big baby on our hands, IF the scan is accurate. They can be off by 20%! At 36 weeks exactly, our monkey weighs 81/2 lbs! Her head is measuring at week 41! Estimated weight at 40 weeks is 12 lbs, yikes!
Most importantly, her fluid levels were high 21 cms, but within the normal range! I am so very thankful! I was/am much more worried about fluid levels than a chunky monkey! Josh and I are so very relieved and overjoyed! This was a huge concern.
As far as our baby being a little monster, we are good with it! The AAP does not recommend inducing due to a large baby. It increases the chance of having a c-section dramatically. I am very glad my OB agrees. I really feel that she will be at least 39 weeks and a very good chance she will be over due. Also, there is a chance she could weigh in at 7 lbs! I really want her to bake as long as she needs to!
I am also very excited to report that she has a ton of hair! Todd, the u/s tech, asked if I had a ton of heartburn. I asked why and he told me that she has a lot of hair! I am so surprised. EJ did not have any and I just thought this one wouldn't either. Bring on the bows! He also confirmed for about the fifth time that she is a she:)!
We are ready ready ready to hold our baby!!!!
