Back Home!

We are back home in Nashville! I am so very relived the trip is over, I start dreading the drive days in advance. The first 3 hours are fine the last 3 are nearly unbearable. No matter how much we stop it is not enough for Emery Jai and Guice. I am just glad it is behind me for a couple of weeks anyway. We had a great time in Arkansas but it is so very good to be home. Emery Jai missed her Daddy so much. I guess I missed him a little :). I did come home to a sparkling house, Josh cleaned it top to bottom! Josh was shocked at how much Guice had grown. He also thinks Emery Jai is talking more now. She says something new every second it seems. We are really having to watch what we say! Emery Jai has already said a couple of inappropriate things, I blame it solely on Josh :).

This Week In Pictures!

Early Christmas!?!?!

I have already posted about Emery Jai finding Christmas a little early. The box was tucked away in NeNa's closet for safe keeping. Emery Jai is such a pilfer pot. She gets in to EVERYTHING! Here are the pics I took. There are many more to come, I am sure. Emery Jai has 25 costumes to pick from. I can not wait to see the combinations she comes up with!

Every outfit needs a huge red hat!

Pumpkin Patch Round 2!

I took Emery Jai and Guice back to the Pumpkin Patch with my friend Lindsay and her son Rodney. It was not the idyllic trip I had envisioned. As I was getting Guice out of his the car Emery Jai took off across the patch. She ended up in a mud puddle up to her ears! She could not have been happier. So much for picture day. She basically ran around like a maniac kicking the animals cages to get a reaction from them and putting dirt and straw in their water. The louder the animal noises the better! The dirtier she could get the better! Guice was a good baby, he ate for a while then he took a nap. Rodney just wasn't feeling the barnyard animals or the patch. He wanted no part of the picture taking. Maybe we will have better luck next year!

Her socks use to be pink! Emery Jai at the rabit cage!

Playing with a ball (at this point I had given up)!

Parade!

Emery Jai rode in her first parade and Guice attended his first parade this weekend! Emery Jai rode in the buggy with Pop and Guice napped in the shade with Aunt Mimi. It was Enola's social event of the year:)! Elisha was so very excited to attend :). Almost the entire family showed up to see Emery Jai in the Fall Festival Parade! I have said it a thousand times before and if I say it a thousand more times it will not be enough we are so lucky to have such a great family!

Trick or Treat!

Mom and I had such a great time taking the babies around in their super cute costumes and showing them off! E.J. and G are the first little ones in the family in a while so everyone loves seeing them too. Emery Jai had a blast, Guice not so much. Emery Jai loved picking out the candy, not that she knew what it was. This was one of her first encounters with sugary goodies. I did let her have a piece of candy, she liked it! Soon to be Aunt (second cousin technically) Kenzie made her a special bag full of healthy snacks and little toys! It was very sweet. Marcus bought her candy, just for her! If you know Marcus you know what a big deal that is, he is a little thrifty :). Emery Jai loved her costume, she did not want to take it off. Her favorite part was the bra. Josh on the other hand did not care for it. He was the only one, everyone thought it was oh so cute! Guice did not care for the hoopla! As we know he is a homebody and apparently doesn't like to dress up either. He had his costume off right after these pics. Moms camera battery was dead, Elisha took these pics and Mimi e-mailed them to me (thank y'all so much!).
Shane and the Billy Goat!
It doesn't get much more cute than this!
On the hunt for candy!
Where is the candy?!?

Guice's First Halloween!

I love holiday sleepwear! Emery Jai has sleepwear commemorating all of her first holidays so Guice should too! I actually looked for PJ's for Emery Jai also but could not find any. You can not really see it but it says I want my mummy! How cute is that? A little side note the size is nine months, I put him in it again on Sunday and it fit completely different it was a little snug in places. He is so big already!
