Pop & NeNa's!

The kids and I jumped in the car and headed out Wednesday (hence the Internet access:)! I was in desperate need for a change of scenery, a little distraction, and some of NeNa's amazing cooking! The kids are so happy to be even if Kit Kat is not.

BABY NAMES!!

We are ready to release them publicly, Josh and I thought about a news conference but decided to announce them on the blog! We have two for sure names, well as for sure as we get! Without Further Ado..........

Herring Charleston Anderson
MaryAlice Carolyne Anderson
Now for the explanations! Herring is my Granny Nina bess's maiden name. Joshua's Step Dad is Charles Wayne so we took some creative liberties and are using Charleston. Anderson is Josh's last name:)! Mary was my Granny Nina bess's mothers name and my PaPa's Grandmothers name. AND the name of one of my most favorite Aunts, Mary. Alice is my Granny Brewer's mothers name. Josh's moms name is Carolyn and here again we took liberties and are using a slight variation. Once again Anderson is my baby daddy's last name:)!
We really like using family names or slight variations, names that have meaning to us. I am also a stickler for using uncommon names ones that are not on THIS list:)
******One last thing MaryAlice is all one word! No spaces! I learned my lesson with Emery Jai ! 99% of people get it and call her Emery Jai, but some people shorten it every single time like that one syllable would send them over the edge! She goes by both names, she calls herself Emery Jai and will correct people on her own!! So that is why we decided to smash them together and hopefully eliminate that issue with MaryAlice!**********

EJ's 3rd Birthday!

Emery Jai had a wonderful birthday, over a month ago:)! We did not do the normal party thing of several reasons and it was great! We spent the day as a family hanging out. EJ got just what she wanted, her ears pierced and hair cut! She looks at least 4 now! She did great! She love showing off her ears:)! At 3 years old EJ weighs 41 lbs and is 42 inches tall! She is VERY tall for her age! She wears a size 11 shoe and a size 5 in clothes.

One Two Three! She HAD to have chinesse food! look how stinkin' cute her hair is!

Here we go........(yes, I cried)

Last pic with long baby hair!

ABOUT TIME!

PICS OF THE KIDS!! It has been months! hope you enjoy!
Holding their babies......... Reading to each other.....

Cheating???

Would this be cheating? It is ONLY 90% accurate, so more like an educated guess, really. When I said I did not want to know, what I should have said is that I did not want to find out via ultrasound.

SOOO.........yes, no, maybe??????
FYI you can take it as early as 10 wks!!!
Click HERE if interested.....just $35!! Where was this when I was expecting the first two monkeys and was DESPERATE to know???

Prayers Needed!

Our Ultrasound has been moved up to the 9th! This is very much an answered prayer. The sooner we know, the better. I will be having a telemedicine ultrasound for high risk moms/babies. The scan will be at Mena Regional but MD's from UAMS will be viewing it simultaneously, in real time. The program is the Antenatal and Neonatal Guidelines, Education and Learning System, known as ANGELS. Feel free to read about it HERE. I could have had an amniocentesis but did not want to risk harm to the baby, so chose to have the MUCH less invasive ultrasound. If the baby does have Down Syndrome things will change dramatically as far as where I deliver. I will deliver at UAMS and the baby will be stabilized then immediately transferred to Children's Hospital. This and so much more is what Josh and I have been trying to get our minds around. As you can imagine we could very much use prayers for peace. We are trusting God with our little one! Thank you to everyone who called or emailed to check on us, to pray with us! It means so much!

G's 18 Month Stats!

Still a very big boy!
Height: 35 &1/4 in.!
Weight: 32.6 lbs!
Head Circumference: 21cm!
All of his measurements were well off the chart, as we expected!

We had a doctor's appointment today! My pregnancy is going well. Please keep us in your prayers. I was informed today that our baby is at an increased risk for Down Syndrome. This is based on blood tests and other indicators. We won't know more until our next ultrasound which happens @ 22 weeks. That's over a month away, so we are asking for your prayers. Pray for the baby and for peace and acceptance in the meantime.

Psalm 139:14
I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

More news coming soon!!!
