Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all mothers, especially my amazing mom, had a wonderful day! I know I sure did! Josh has gone out of his way all day to make it very special. The best part of my day, I did not change a single diaper or wipe a bottom:)! Rock on!
EJ made this for me today! I love hand made gifts from the kiddo's! I remember my first Mother's Day. We were attending New Life Saturday night services. I was on my way to the nursery to pick her up. As I passed other kids proudly holding cards for their mommies I though about how sweet it was, it never once crossed my mind that I was a mommy and would get one too! So, when I picked Emery Jai up and the lady handed me a card, I cried like a lunatic!

on a side note: I think it is super important to remember all the people who have lost their moms, mothers who have lost children, and moms desperately seeking babies. please say a prayer for them as today is very difficult, thanks!

To One Special Mom

So I (Josh) am making my once a year post on the blog. I like to take the time to tell everyone who reads the blog just how much I appreciate my wife. I am so thankful for everything that the Lord has blessed me with, but the one thing above all is my wife. We he blessed me with her I knew that anything was possible. She makes me a better husband, a better father, and a better person. She helps me see the other side of things that I otherwise would have missed. She helps me to show compassion when I just really don't want too. She is my ever so incredible wife. Jessica has an incredible job of staying home with the children, and I have said to her that the only time I would ever trade with her is when the kids start school. I don't know how she does it, but I am thankful for the way she perseveres. People tell me that my children are so smart, funny, and sometimes sweet, and just the cutest things they have ever seen. I always say thank you, but truthfully it's all thanks to Jessica. My wife is the reason my children are who they are, and the fact that Jess can do so much of it by herself is incredible. I am amazed at what she does. So Jessica I just really want to say: THANK YOU!!!

I saw this on another blog and did the interview with EJ, wow! Her answers are too funny! I plan to this every year, to see how things change! I did try it with G and he mimicked her answers for a while and then around 5 stuck with "I don't know!" I guess 22 questions is a little much for a 21 mnth old! Next year it should be no problem!

Our New Pet.....

Kind of blurry...but this is it. Yep, a ladybug. It is dead, but don't tell EJ! She thinks it is napping. She has carried it around for a couple of days now. So sad. Pirate ran away, I guess the gypsy life was not for him. So we are pet free, well, unless you count our bug! Maybe, one day we will have a yard and a fence and we can have a dog! They would be so very excited. If you ask EJ if she needs anything from WalMart she will say "Yep, you can just pick me up a puppy, with a bow on its neck please." So cute!

On a side note. G came to me saying pider pider in my room. I said great wait until Daddy gets home. Well, I guess he could not. Five seconds later he came to me with his little fist closed tight and legs were coming out of it! He then put the spider on the floor and preformed an Indian Rain Dance on it! So funny!

The List Is OUT!

The Social Security Administration finally released the top names of 2008! I always look for this list. The reason you ask.....I have a fear of Emery moving up to #1. Seriously, when we picked that name we had never even heard it for a little girl. And it had not made the SSA list at that time! Now it is not common. I have never met a little girl named Emery but have heard of a few. It does help that she is Emery Jai, but I still do not want Emery in the top 100. Crazy, I know! So, it is #468! WooooHoooo! Just a couple of spots behind Wendy, Geneses, Evangeline, and Diamond!
I did go ahead and check for Guice, it was a no show, as well as Jai andBrewer. Ever is not in the top 1000 of course Grace is #21, and much to my delight loosing popularity:)! However, Evergrace is no where to be found!
