Our first egg!

A much anticipated event! The kids were amazed!
Wynn got the privilege of eating the first egg!
He mostly wore it:)
Some random pics of the coop & our assorted fowl, one goose, a ugly turkey, three ducks, 9 chickens, and one rooster!  The chickens are different varieties.

Sums it up for us!!

I love this! I found it on Pinterest, of course the link is no good.  I'm currently searching for it on Esty, found some similar but not exact, I'll keep looking though:)

Big Cat Daddy & Penelope!

We have added two outdoor kittens.

The beginning was a but rocky, Penelope ran up our fireplace, but bygones be bygones. We just never pick her up & all is well. She kills all kinda of things, makes up for her bad attitude :).  Big Cat Daddy is loving enough for both!
Penelope after running up the fireplace!
Big cat daddy
A bit better temperament :)!

Evergrace is FIVE!!

Ever turned 5! How did that happen!?! She is our sister sassafras! All girly girl all the time! She loves kittens, reading, doing school, playing princess!

Evergrace Wimberly, you have given us so much love, laughter, happiness! We are ao proud of you & are looking forward to watching you grow into a mighty woman of God!

Jimmy Dean!

He is here! Kiddos are so excited to have him home! They have been visiting him at Nena's for the past couple of months, nena & pop brought him down this weekend.

Our mini farm is growing!

Wynn turns one!

NeNa & Pop came in to celebrate this little guys first birthday! He is such a joy!
A few birthday facts:  he is not walking, crawls like a beast though! He walks while pushing toys, so anytime now.  He has never had a bottle, and yes is "still" nursing.  He says Momma, Boob, Dadda, Nena, & Bub. He bites, hits, & scratches to get what he wants.  Wynn loves animals.  He is super smiley, such a happy boy! He wears 24 month clothing. Has been super healthy! Not sure if his weight, I would guess 25 lbs.
He sleeps with us in the bed, he gets so excited to go to bed!
Wynn Herring Anderson, we love you so much & are beyond thankful God gave us you!

Family Pictures!

Lindsay took the sweetest pictures! I'm wanting to print them all!

And many more fantastic ones, not on my phone!!
Thank you so much Lindsay!!

My bestie came for a visit!!

We are in love with our new place! It was a studio, we use for guest! We finally have room for people to stay! We have had more people over in the past 3weeks than in the 3 years we lived at the other house!

Lindsay & I have been best friends for a long long time, kindergarten. It blows my mind that we are now wives, mothers, adults!
Here are a few snapshots of the visit!

Please excuse my very brief absence.,,

We are in the middle of the move!! We are a week in, I hope to never move again! Nena has been down for the week helping out! The kids have loved having her. It's such a blessing to have plenty of room for guest! Mimi has been also helping get things ready! We are blessed! I have a huge, long post about the logistic side of our move. It was bananas. We are taking it slow & enjoying this time! Last night was the first storm under the tin roof, amazing :)!!

Raw.

We did it, we went raw! We have been gifted our first gallon. We intended on making the full time switch, buying weekly.  At least until I can talk Josh into a mini jersey cow :).  If you have not tried raw cow milk, you are missing out! It is fantastic! Also, wonderfully healthy!

This picture is when we let it separate to make butter.  I have plans on making cheese soon, never in a million years thought I would be making cheese! Lindsay, in high school, did you peg me as a raw milk drinking, cheese making, homeschooling, mom of many?
We also made butter! Kids loved it!

Yes, I have reached the offical crunchy granola status....;)

Proud wife moment!!

Love this post on Facebook, no it wasn't by me :). I cropped it to protect the poster.  I have been beyond blessed, married up for sure! He his my priest, provider, and protector! I couldn't dream of better!

Early morning thoughts....

It's all coming together, we are where we have dreamed and prayed of being. When we moved to tiny town people thought we were nuts.  A few times, okay 47, we have agreed. We have moved away once, just to move back.  Several times we have entertained the idea of moving.  Most recent, we even applied for jobs elsewhere.  Josh immediately received call backs, interviews, and such.  We were tierd and done. A few months or so in we prayed a very simple prayer together, "God open the doors that need to be open, close the rest."  Honestly hoping we would still move.  We went from receiving 3~5 leads on Jobs a day to zero.  That instant.  Josh had even had an interview on site very promising, they never called him back. God made it very clear, yet again this is where we are called.
We bought a house, took the plunge.  It is a fantastic cottage with a ton of character.  Yellow with ivy.  Perfect.  If I told your the square footage, you would be shocked at how small.  It's cool we love each other, and have plans to expand at some point.   The most amazing news however, is that we were asked to be Children's Pastors! We are thrilled.  We are so thankful.  This fall we will have lived here 6 years.  We have made some huge mistakes in that 6 years, spiritually, personally, and such.  However, we have ultimately been beyond blessed.
Feeling content, blessed, humbled, thankful, amazed, and the list goes on.

Eight, eight eggs.

That is all. I really can count. And now you are all very worried about me homeschooling.   In my defense, Josh said there were seven. The guy gave us an extra. Josh didn't mention it & I didn't notice. Ha!!
In other news we are down to five, three were rotten. I'll spare you the details!

Love these two!

JJosh took the night shift in hopes of Wynn learning that nursing is not a requirement to sleep! We are giving night weaning a go...I love exclusively breast feeding, I love co sleeping, but I've hit a wall. At 10 months I need sleep! Wish us well on this adventure!

Not your typical eight year old...

EJ wants a hair cut like Amelia Earhart. Love her.

Books I am reading..,

I am loving them!
In no particular order:)!!
The Brainy Bunch, love it! Homeschooling family, they chose out of the box learning at it really worked for them! Will any of the Anderson children enroll in college at 12? We shall see!
Seven, great and easy book. Great idea, Americans have too much junk. We spend so much time serving our stuff when we could be serving people! It's a really deep message in a very open thought.
Jesus>Religion, it's not for the new Christian. Some very intriguing view points.  I really like the concepts presented. Josh & I are working out, through prayer & seeking counsel, how to manifest them in our daily living.
Large family logistics, man I needed this book. I am not from a large family, nor have lots of friends with large families. We went from four to six QUICK. Four we were doing great, six has been an adjustment. I need to rethink the way the family operates to be more efficient. I'm hoping for great insight from this book.

Perfection

My blessings!
