You know what doesn't go together??

Crocks & Play Doh! This little creation was custom made by Guyboo. Got to love inquisitive little boys! He said he wanted his feet to feel soft. HA!

Revamping

I am having to reconsider my weight loss strategy, which was drop weight as quickly as possible:). I lost my milk! Super scary! So thankful I had pumped milk to supplement while my supply came back up. I have upped my caloric intake and also fat consumption. I have implemented a new mantra "slow and steady".....not my favorite way to handle it but baby boy needs his mommy milk!

Hog Caps!

Might be just me, but I think I have the coolest kiddos around:)!

Baby's First Concert!

I had a very unexpected night out with my newbie and my mother on Friday night! My mom's cousin had extra tickets to the Gaither's. The concert was AWESOME! Just what I needed! The pre-concert Chinese food was pretty good too :)! It was nice to get out for the night and spend some time with my mom. Hollis was an angel, never made so much as a peep during the performance. NeNa cuddled him up and he went right to sleep! We had excellent seats very close to the stage, it was loud! H didn't mind at all. Also, I have a new all time favorite song! Looking for a way to post it without it being linked back to my blog...not trying to attract any crazies :)

A boy & his cat!

Lucky is the most perfect cat for our family! He loves to wrestle and fight! He is one tough kitty. Lucky is very ones cat but really Boo loves him so very much! He was showing signs of stress. We started letting him have outdoor time and that has really helped. Who could blame Luck? I'd be stressed too:)!

Mr Blue Eyes..

If I had to guess I'd say I am 0 for 4! Josh is 3 for 4! Evergrace has amazing green eyes, like her Pop. Emery Jai told her Sunday School teacher that we were going to adopt a brown eyed baby :). I wonder what the agency would think about that....no preference on ethnicity or gender BUT must be brown eyed:)!!

Re...

Rethinking
Reevaluating
Reprioritising
Recommitting
Reconnecting
Reorganizing
Rejuvenating

We are experiencing a season of Re in our lives, marriage, and relationship with Jesus. Exciting? Yes. Nerve-wracking? You bet.

Trip to tiny town....

Josh and our littlest took a super quick trip to tiny town. Josh's Grandmother is having mini-strokes. We felt lead to make a trip down to visit and pray with her. She had mentioned to Josh's mom how much she would like to see Hollis again. She had only seen him once, the day after he was born. It was as if Hollis Timothy knew that Nanny needed him to be the sweetest baby ever! He just laid right beside her and smiled and cooed and laughed! It was perfect! So sweet to see!
Big man! Hard to believe last time she saw him he was a tiny 8.11lbs:)! He is now well over 16lbs! So sweet!

Three generations! Should have had Josh step in for four...hindsight is 20/20 right?!?!

We took a little walk..

Josh was off yesterday. Having the hubs home is a rarity around these parts! We wanted to take advantage and get out of the house & back yard for a bit. We loaded up the kids & the beast (our triple stroller) and hit a local walking trail. Fun was had by all!
All my little ducks in a row!

The middle children!

Stroller overflowing:)!

My Peeps!

Jump For Joy!!

We were gifted this awesome bounce house, how cool is that?!?!?! It was a very generous gift from some friends it wasn't a good fit at their home so they are letting us jump till we drop! I am sure it goes without saying the monkeys are having a blast!

Because what I really need is another ticker...

After much deliberation and contemplation I am gonna do it! I am posting my weight loss ticker! Yes, it is that big of deal for me. Thanks for asking. I have little less than a ton to drop and hoping to be skinny(er) by fall. I have done okay since having Hollis but need a bit of accountability. Hence posting my ticker for all to see. It was this or pay $12 a week to be publicly weighed at Weight Watchers. What can I say, I am cheap. No real secret fix here just plan on burning more calories than I take in. Not exactly revolutionary. I have joined THIS site to keep me honest(er) (yep, I know it isn't a word but thought it was funny. You are entitled to your opinion:)). Catch a glimpse of my sweet new ticker, hopefully it won't look the same way twice, please try not to look more than once a week :)!

Yet another reason to whip out your boob:)!

The hair cut heard around the world

Boo's long blond locks are all gone! Guice cut his own hair, it was so bad we had to cut it off! G and I both had a good long cry about the cut. I know we are in the minority but Josh and I loved his hair! It was so pretty! I do like his big boy cut but thinking we will let it grow back out!
Boo after he cut his own hair and I told him we would have to get it cut. He cut the side too!

Big man!

Hollis Timothy is 2 months!

Can't believe just two months ago I was begging for a csection:)! Hollister has made up for his LONG DIFFICULT labor, he is such an angel baby! So very very sweet! He loves to be held and cuddled and sang to and talked to and nursed a lot! He is rolling over to his back. He is spending a bit of time in his bumbo seat. His favorite toy is his activity gym! He lays under it for about 30 min.! Evergrace gets super interested in it as soon as H gets on it:)! The older kids love to hold him and help with him it is so sweet! EJ & G have showed zero jealously! E is great as long as she isn't tired, she gets a bit pinchy when she is sleepy. Hollis smiles and coo's a ton! LOVE IT! He nurses a ton, I honestly have no clue how many times a day or night:). He sleeps with me. He nurses so much its just easier. I have a ton of pumped breastmilk and give him a bottle every two days or so. It is such a relief to have a baby who will take one! We had his check up and he got shots. We have decided to vaccinate on the Dr. Sears schedule. He did not do well with them. So sad. He was so fussy the first day, the next day he just slept. I am thinking about delaying them all together until he is older.

Hollis has made up for his slow start for sure! He is weighing 14.15 lbs and is 261/2 in long! He is in 6 month clothes but some of those are too short. We haven't really settled on a name for sure. He gets called Hollis, Hollister, Hollis Timothy, and Baby:). I had a bit of name remorse, I really love his name but not sure what to call him. I am hoping it will work its self out:)!

We are enjoying this perfect addition to our family of 6!

Easter 2011!

We had a wonderful Easter! The kids and I, Josh had to work all day, went to church with NeNa. We then went over to Aunt MiMi's house to eat lunch and hunt eggs! We invited a family who moved here from Mena and the kids were so excited they came! Easter and Thanksgiving our my top two favorite holidays! So thankful for a risen Savior!
