Hollis is 6 weeks & some change:)!

The biggest change over the last 6 weeks is Hollis' size! He is now weighing over 13 lbs! He is a chunk! We are packing up all his 0-3 month clothing. He is regularly cooing and smiling up a storm. H is an absolute doll baby! So handsome and just super sweet. He doesn't have a fussy time or crying spells. It is hard to fuss & cry with a boob in your mouth at all times:)! He is exclusively fed breast milk. I still pump and he occasionally takes a bottle and will down 4 ounces. H is very close to rolling over, he can roll to his sides but can't make it over his chubby belly. He can bare weight on his legs for several seconds. He has great head control. He is sleeping like a baby:). Some nights are better than others:)! He loves riding around in the moby wrap. The biggest news it we had his ACH appointment and his test results are normal! Praise God! Saying we are thankful falls incredibly short.

oh, i forgot...

*If you ask E who's girl she is she answers POP! She LOVES her Pop! *EJ wanted Josh to go outside and push her on the swings. He was said "Ok, let me recoup and I'll be out in a bit" EJ replied "Ok, when you get done pooping come on out!" *The kids are missing Mena very much. They are really loving living so close to Pop & NeNa.

All about the kiddos...

I was looking back over my blog and I realized how much more I use to write about the kids. I recorded things they said, what did all day on any random day, and other details. I am not sure why I stopped, I guess I just got out of the habit. This is, after all, our family scrapbook:). So back by popular demand (demanded by yours truly:)) my super popular bullet style posting about my incredible kiddos:)! *Emery Jai is preforming in NeNa's churches Easter program and she is beyond excited about it. She is our performer and in her words "Can't wait to get on stage!" She is our performer, come to think of it I do not think any of our kids have a shy bone in their body! *Guice wants a real elephant for his birthday. His Christmas list includes all kinds of livestock. *EJ, G, & E could not be more in love with H! Can I hold him is a constant question in our home. Everyone loves to pick out his clothes or run and get him a diaper or shove his bink in his mouth. *E is talking up a storm. She says a ton of words regularly and will mimic any word or phrase. She is talking mostly broken sentences but will on occasion get a complete one in. *G can often be unpredictable and extreme in his behavior. We are working on it. He is impossible to reason with if he is sleepy or sugared up or in a mood. *E is our dragon. The terrible twos have arrived, I am not sure they ever really left. *E has an very strong opinion on everything you can possibly imagine. *EJ is a huge help she is willing to do almost anything I ask. EJ is generally very well behaved, generally:). *E wants to stay in G's class at church. She says it is her class and she isn't a baby. E has no clue she is only 21 months. EJ & G are best buds who would kill each other if given half a chance. When they play well they play really good but when they don't they REALLY don't. *G is picky about his clothes. He only wants to wear shirts with motorcycles, four wheelers, or spiderman on them. He refuses to wear pants with buttons or zippers in his words they freak him out. *EJ is so close to reading! She loves to learn! *E is not potty trained although she will go potty at anytime. I am going to do that very soon. *G loves to tell us all about his dreams in great detail.

Sewing!

Well technically not sewing YET, more getting ready to learn to sew. Not nearly as catchy or exciting title however! This is my sewing nook. We are bursting at the seems in this house, space is at a premium. I would rather have a sewing and crafting (no, I don't craft YET:)) room, now that I think of it there are a lot of rooms I would like to have. We are making due with what we have or in this case what we don't have. Back on topic...I asked Mom for a sewing machine for Christmas. This is a sewing and a embroidery machine! I am so excited to learn to use it. My primary motivation is sewing dresses for Emery Jai. It is extremely difficult to find sweet little girl dresses. EJ wears a size 8 or 10 depending on the cut, apparently she has crossed over to hooker clothes. It is super hard to find appropriate clothing! I could rant about this forever. I am ready to start sewing...now I just have to find time:)!

Daddy & His Girls

Growing like a weed....

Little bitty baby... Chunky monkey!!

What a difference a few short weeks make!

Great Day At The Park!

Headed out to the park this morning and it was a perfect day! We met up with some friends of ours. They were having a HIPPY meeting and we crashed it:). The kids decorated flower pots then planted flowers. The kids loved it, what kid wouldn't:)? Also, a fire truck showed up. Bonus:). Miss. Evergrace Kiddos waiting their turn by the truck.

EJ ringing the bell!
E trying to decided if she wanted to sit in the truck....she decided not!
Mr. Fireman & children...

Kiddo's in front of the flowers!

as good as it gets...

I have been trying for over a month to get a decent pic of all four kids, no such luck! I do want to finally post one of all the kids together so, here you go. It is as good as it gets:)!

Party for Pop!

My kiddos love to party! Any ones party! When EJ & G heard Pop had a Birthday coming up they had to have him a surprise party! They planned and planned although I had to tone down their ideas just a bit. They wanted a full blown bash! We decided Pop's favorite food was pizza and his favorite cake was chocolate.

Pop blowing out his candles! Getting ready to sing!
Surprise!!!
Ready to yell surprise!!
Decor:)!
looking out the window, waiting on Pop!
Balloons!

Car Full!

Big Kids! Little Kids!

We have reached maximum capacity in our Suburban! There is a bit of room between EJ & G but only a tiny adult who had no interest in being comfortable or wearing a seat belt could fit! Let me just say 4 kids, 3 of which are in 5 point restraints (EJ reached the height and weight limit and now is in a high back booster with a seat belt) is a workout! I am tired before we pull out of the driveway! H really likes his carseat, so very thankful for that:)!

Cloth Diaper!

Sarah, a friend of mine from tiny town moved here a couple of months before we moved back, How crazy is that, gave me some REALLY nice cloth diapers. The good ones. I love them! The cheap ones I bought off Ebay work great for E but H not so much. They were WAY too big. These are perfect. I heart them. {stepping on soap box} Cloth diapering is much easier than most people think. It is also much better for the environment and doesn't expose baby to all the chemicals. {stepping off soap box...wait who am I kidding I am almost always sittin' on mine}

Something we can all agree on...That baby is a CUTIE!! We are thinkin he might have red hair! However, we thought this with G too and not so much, what do we know :)!?!?!

Redneck Water Slide!

Mud Bath

Our Dragon took a little mud bath! She was a MESS! It was already one of those days. I had defrosted hamburger meat for supper and it was funky. Thankfully, NeNa was still in town, She and Pop were going to come to the rescue and swing some by. I was doing laundry and picking up when I heard the screams. I could not help but laugh! And, yes I grabbed my camera and snapped a couple of pics:)! I was already a bit unnerved because of the dinner situations and then had this to deal with. E didn't want to take a bath and was such a mess I didn't know where to start! I kind of got things and kids cleaned up before Pop & NeNa showed up with Mexican! So thankful for delivery:)! Pics of our little mud puppy:)!

One Month Already??

Our newbie is one month old! Hollister is such a sweet baby. He is so good and such a happy baby! He, of course, loves to be held and nurse and nurse and nurse. H is a chubby monkey, He weighs over 11 lbs now and 24in long! We were calling him our little peanut, I think we need a new nickname:)! He is smiling and cooing. He has great head control. Hollister really likes to play on his blanket. Joshua and I are so thankful for another easy going baby. His sisters and brother love him so much! They are constantly arguing about getting to hold him, pick out his clothes, and even getting to get him a new diaper. Hollister is sleeping good. He nurses a lot at night but I am not up with him so that is a positive. He is sleeping in our bed. After his low weight at two weeks I moved him into our bed so he could nurse all night on demand. He has taken full advantage:). All smiles! Sweet grin! Hollister Timothy 1 month!

Chubbs:)!
