Hollister Timothy is 6 months!

The biggest change is our big man is CRAWLING! He started one day before he turned 6 months! He is for sure our earliest crawler! I love what my aunt said "self preservation is a huge motivator" that is very true:)! He can only hands and knees crawl a little bit but day by day he gets stronger. He eats like a horse. No joke. I had mixed up a whole banana and half an avocado, Hollister ate the whole thing! On a normal day he eats 2 cubes for breakfast and lunch and 4 for diner! He is my first baby to love to eat food! He throws a fit for what we are eating and from time to time gets a nibble:). If it weren't for the fact I am super paranoid about choking he would get it a lot more :). He loves to nurse, it is his favorite pastime. He is still a chunk, we get comments on his size all the time. We also hear how pretty he is, and we have to agree he is a cutie! It has been a huge challenge packing with a mobile baby who puts everything in his mouth! He is super friendly and out going, he will let anyone hold him he just likes to be held! H decided that sleeping all night in his own crib is over rated. He now wakes up twice to nurse, why sleep when you could be eating? HA! He starts out in his bed then moves to ours around 3ish. We have started with signs and he loves it!! He hasn't done any yet but does wave his hands around. Super cute! We are enjoying our little man so much! He is such a blessing!

we are busy...

here is a little play by play. we are moving back to tiny town. i totally agree moving as much as we do is not normal. however, i never said i we were a normal family. i have decided to embrace the crazy:)! i was offered an AMAZING job and i took it! i will be turning in my sahm card in t minus two weeks and 3 days, but who is counting? josh will be going to school and keeping the kids during the day, he will also be working nights. josh only works 4 nights a weeks so we will have weekends OFF! people, in the history of our relationship this has never happened. we are not gonna know what to do with ourselves! it is not all rainbows and roses, it breaks my heart to leave my mom & dad. it has been awesome living here. if i needed anything they would swing it by. they get the kids every. single. weekend. yep, it is awesome. the kids are sad, we are sad, they are sad. we are going to miss nena & pop more than you can imagine. and, yes they will only be 3hrs away but that is 3hrs too much. this was far from an easy decision. i had migraines and was litterlaly sick over it. many many many hours of prayer even. we have peace about it but it is not something that is "perfect". it is what it is and we are gonna make the best of it! i have been offered an amazing job and that is such a blessing! the kiddos will be with us or my dear friend who will be watching them a couple of hours while josh can sleep. it is a good thing for our family even though it isn't an easy thing. i am almost certain that i know everyone who reads my little blog, so you guys already knew all this. i did have to recorded for the sake of record keeping:)!

***i just notice i apparently decided to forgo capitalization in this post....yea...not fixing it either:)!

Pinterest...

I am obsessed! Seriously! If you are not a member, you should be! It is AWESOME! If you are a member follow me so I can stalk....errrr.....follow you:)! I am really working on sitting aside some time for all the ideas that I am pinning! My favs are the free printables for organization and decor. I am also a sucker for the sayings. I literally LOL while I read for them! Well, there is my plug (and no I was not reimbursed for my promotion :)). I know I am late to the Pinterest party, but hey at least I made it:)!

***more odds & ends****

Why is it that I have tons of things to record until I sit down to do it and then I can't think of one thing? That is until I hit publish!
* EG refused to participate in an activity for the church Christmas play because they didn't have a pink Shepard's robe. She wouldn't do it for love nor money.
*Boo isn't happy about not going to school this year. He won't start for two years, hopefully we can get him into a preschool or mdo soon!
*I am adjusting to the responsibility of having a school kid to get ready every morning and a folder to sign and read every afternoon!
*I asked EJ who she played with at school and she said "You know Mom we really hardly ever get to play." That is so true they get about 40 min of free play a day, that is it!
*EJ thinks it is so funny that there is a girl in her class named Becky, because that is her NeNa's name!

Ready for Fall?

Yes, I am! I thought maybe if I changed my blog background it would hurry up and get here already!

Hillbilly handfishin & Such!

Tidbits that I hope to never forget! After all, these are the best days of my life! I work, although hardly ever, in a Geriatric Psychiatric unit. Ever single one of my sweet patients tell me these are the days I will miss, I whole heartily agree!
*Boo is obsessed with Hillbilly Hand fishing. It is by far his favorite show, not that he watches much T.V.:). He can't wait to get to go. Boo wants to ride his motorcycle there. G is going to make me gray headed.
*EG is too funny! She loves to wear dresses and is super prissy. She will prance around in front of people until they tell her she is pretty.
*EG calls H baby Saul.
*EJ seems to mature daily, not exaggerating at all.
*She loves all things bright and sparkly! Emery Jai has serious opinions on her hair, her clothes, everything!
*Guice is our little super hero! He pretend flies around Wal-Mart.
*EG claws Boo & EJ's faces off. Yes, you read that right. The nickname Dragon was hard earned.
*EJ announced to everyone at kindergarten open house that her mommy said "school lunches are pure junk and buses are death traps". I wanted to d-i-e!
*Boo & EJ are now allowed to play games on my computer. It amazes me how quickly kids pick up new things!

EJ's first week!

Emery Jai had a wonderful first week of kindergarten! She loves it! EJ asked if she could sleep there and is slightly disappointed that she has Saturday and Sunday off. We love her teacher, Mrs, Taylor. She was our favorite during kindergarten camp, how lucky are we that we got her?!? She told me how much she loves Emery Jai's name, she has a daughter (14) named Avery Jo. Cute! She totally gets the two name thing:) Mrs. Taylor is super sweet! I am so pleased with how well EJ is adapting to school, not surprised at all! She is very outgoing and self assured little girl, I pray she carries that with her forever! She even stuck up for a little boy when other people were making fun of him. I LOVE being her mommy! So proud of her! She is having some symptoms of over stimulation. EJ is over emotional and super sensitive. Praying this passes quickly. Boo & EG miss her a ton during the day! It is an adjustment for everyone, for sure!

Look what Guice can do!!!

Such a little smarty pants! He did only want to write Guyboo or Peter Parker. We have been making a point of calling him Guice more and after about a week he decided it would be okay to write Guice. Glad he came around:)!

38 Years!!

Happy Anniversary to my amazing parents!! Although, I do not say it near enough but we are so appreciative of everything you guys do to make our lives that much better!!

5 Months!!

avocados!! Yummmyyyyyyyyy!

H wrestling with his playmat!
Chubby!! LOVE all the rolls and dimples!

Hollister Timothy is changing every day! This is SUCH a sweet age! He laughs all the time! Is such an easy going happy baby! He rolls across the floor, I do not remember my others being this rolly! H scoots and army crawls (I know, at 5 months!! ). Pair his rolling and his scooting and we have a mobile baby! He gets into everything already! I have started giving him bites of food here and there. Nothing consistent, if he shows interest in what we are eating I will give him little bites of avocado or banana or carrots and potatoes.....and a bit of gravy:) He has been waking up a bit more at night. No more 9 hour stretches of interrupted sleep. A bit sad to see that go! He is breastfed! I am sure he will be for at least another year or so. Maybe longer who really knows! I am glad he will take a bottle of pumped milk! Soooooo nice to have a bit of a break! Hollister went to NeNa's for a couple of hours on Sunday. He was such a big boy and loved it! EG wasn't a huge fan of him being there, up until Sunday she was the baby at Pop & NeNa's. His eyes are getting a bit darker and his hair has a ton of red in it but isn't really red. Only time will tell what color his eyes will be and his hair!! We are so enjoying him and his sweet baby self!

Open House!

EJ had her kindergarten open house, where is my little girl?!?! It went great! I really really LOVE her teacher! EJ didn't want to go at first because NeNa was watching the other ones for me and she wanted to stay home with her. We finally got her talked into going :). I was under (the wrong) impression that we would just show up see the classroom and leave. Nope. There was a whole presentation! Which basically boils down to....Kindergarten is serious business (not at all like when we went), they will have home work, we must help our kid everyday or they will get behind, if they do not know letters, how to write their name, number and such they are already behind. YIKES! The school she goes to is rolling out a brand new curriculum this year, the teachers made the point (more than once) that it is not an easy one. I am excited about it! EJ is going to do awesome! She is very bright and will not have any problems! I, on the other hand, am freakin out about having to keep up with the daily folder and all that jazz:)! Looking forward to this new and extremely exciting chapter! We are parents to a school aged kid! Aren't we a little young for all that :)! LOL!

*I didn't get any pics because EJ told me it wasn't allowed....

Chuck E Cheese!

Movin' & Groovin' with Chuck!
Sweet sisters!
All my boys!
LOVE LOVE LOVE G's face in this pic! It is so him:)
Kids having a blast!
Ever LOVED the band!
Kiddos checking it out!
Boo chowing down!
Daddy with his girls!!
Our Dragon!
The HEAT is driving us all a bit crazy this summer! I can't count how many times we have gone to the jump zone! We are all over this season and beyond ready for FALL! This was our kiddo's first time at Chuck E Cheese! They had a blast! We hung out there in the AIR CONDITIONING for over 3 hours! Good times!

How funny is that!?!!?

Found this interesting....

So I am sure everyone that reads the blog knows by now that I make my own baby food (yes, I am one of those moms:)) Anyway, saw ThisLink and wanted to share!
Your welcome:)!

i took a little vaca

It wasn't to a remote beach or any where equally majestic and I didn't spend my days shopping or exploring but it was a vacation none the less, even if it was to a mental ward :). I went to work for the week! NeNa & Josh took shifts with EJ, G, EG, and I took H with me. I couldn't have done it without my parents helping with the older kiddos! A family from our old church took care of Hollister, they spoiled him rotten! I might get my SAHM card revoked for this, BUT it was nice to get out of the house and WORK! For me, the hardest thing about staying home is not the one income it is being home day after day. It was fantastic to feel like I was making a difference (yes, I know I am raising kids the best job ever blah blah blah :)). I filled in as the Activity Therapist for a Geriatric Psychiatric unit. I absolutely LOVED it! Okay, now sit down and take a deep breath, ready....I didn't feel guilty or miss my children to the point of tears! There I admit it! It was fun & just what I needed!

Take 5....

and listen to my new favorite song! Getting back to basics people, back to basics.

It is Great I am by New Life Worship
I wanna to be close close to your side
So heaven is real and death is alive
I wanna hear voices of angels above
Singing as one

Hallelujah Holy Holy
God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy
None beside Thee
God Almighty
Great I Am

I wanna be near near to your heart
Loving the world hating the dark
I want to see dry bones living again
Singing as one

Chorus
Hallelujah
Holy Holy
God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy
None beside Thee
God Almighty
Great I Am

He's the Great I Am Great I Am

The mountains shake before Him
The demons run and flee
At the mention of the name
King of Majesty
There is no power in hell
Or any who can stand
Before the power and the presence of the Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am

(Chorus)

Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am

The mountains shake before Him
The demons run and flee
At the mention of the name
King of Majesty
There is no power in hell
Or any who can stand
Before the power and the presence of the Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am

(chorus)
the Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am

If I had payed more attention in 7th grade English I would know whether or not I needed to use italics or these cool things " " however I was too busy passing notes to one Miss Lindsay Mallett, so I am clueless. Funny enough I bet Lindsay knows....hmmm....

Forward facing!

We switched her around the day after her second birthday & these are the best pics I got:)!

Party Party Party!!

EG wasn't a huge fan of our singing. She was a bit shy about it.
G blowing out his candles!
He LOVED his transformer cake. I was a bit worried because he wanted the one off of Cake Boss, you know, the life size transformer that "fired up"!
We sang Happy Kindergarten to EJ:)

Evergrace's Dragon cake! She loved it:)
EJ's cake!
Evergrace & Annette
Partying :)
Our dragon!
Birthday Boy!
Madison!
Guyboo & the cakes!
Opening Gifts!

Kiddo's had a blast at their party! NeNa did a GREAT job! Boo insisted on being called Birthday Boy the whole day! LOL! He really enjoyed being the center of attention! He is such a big boy! He made sure to say thank you after his gifts, so proud of our man! Evergrace was a dragon, as always. She didn't want to wear a party hat because it wasn't pink. The funniest part of the party was when she was wearing her prized high heels and I turned on the crawling baby she got (which she loves as long as it isn't crawling :)) and started screaming "Baby is getting my high heels, Baby is getting my high heels!!" Too funny! If we had it on video we would be rich :)! On the other had, we would have gotten her screaming "I don't like it!" when we were trying to get her to open a gift. For the record, She did love the dress she was preoccupied wanting her high heels opened. EJ also got her fair share of gifts, couldn't leave her out:)!

Typical Evergrace....

She threw a huge fit because she didn't like what NeNa was wearing to church. Nope, not joking. She wanted her to wear different shoes, flip flops, and did not like her shirt. She is a NUT!

Guice Brewer is FOUR!

Seriously, where does time go? The days are so long and the years are heartbreakingly short. Guyboo is our sweet little man! He is all boy, unless you count the painted toe nails:). We adore him so much! Bits and pieces of what he is like at FOUR!
*He is an absolute doll 95% of the time. BUT, if the mood strikes him watch out. There is no reasoning with him. These episodes have gotten shorter and less frequent, thank you JESUS!
*Feeding Guice sugar and or tons of processed foods will make him nuts. He also has to play hard for a good part of the day, or again, he is nuts.
*He loves super hero's and mean men! Also, has quite the collection of wrestlers. Although, we do not watch wrestling on T.V..
*Guice wants to be called either Guyboo or Peter Parker. He doesn't like the name Guice.
*Boo LOVES Hollister! LOVES him! He will do anything I ask when it comes to his baby brother!
*G is a big eater! He isn't picky, just likes to eat! He still loves fruit. Kiwi and strawberries are two of his favorites. He would eat 6 bananas a day, if I would let him.
*He likes to help around the house. Which is great because it is best to keep him busy:).
*He says he is gonna play football when he is older and have lots of babies but not get married. Awesome.
*When I ask him to pick up his toys he told me "I am waiting on God to tell me what to do. He is in my heart!" So, basically if he doesn't want to do something he just says he is waiting on God to tell him to do it.
*He asks 1000000 questions a day. It wears me out! Lately, he is obsessed with how Hollis drank boobie milk from his umbilical cord. Yep, explain that to a 4 year old.
*When the kids are playing EJ is Allkindsofgirls, G is Allkindsofboys, & EG is Chili.

Evergrace is TWO!

Our dragon turned two! So hard to believe! Evergrace is such a handful! Her nickname is Dragon, and she has earned it. Lets just say she knows what she wants and isn't going to take no for an answer. We are so in love with her and looking forward to seeing who she becomes! Some tidbits about little miss Evergrace..
*She is big for her age but tiny to us! She is 31 lbs and tall for her age (I'll post height soon) but compared to EJ & G at 2 she is a shrimp.
*NeNa brought shakes over one afternoon and EG raised her hands in the air and started singing Praise God Praise God! She loves to praise HIM!
*Is potty trained!
*She insists on going to the big kid Sunday school. She says she is not a baby!
*She loves loves loves books & puzzles! She likes to read to Hollis who she calls baby Saul.
*EG pulls hair and bites EJ & G, 99% of the time it is completely unprovoked.
*We turned her car seat around! She is a happy girl. Jai & Boo are not so happy about it.
*If someone else has a toy she immediately wants it. It is madding, really.
*She sleeps from 7-7 in her crib. She loves her bed!
*Naps are still an issue. She wakes up too early and wants to be held while she sleeps. Trying to break that habit, it isn't going well at all.
*Her favorite color is pink. If it ain't pink she don't want it! She says her hair is pink!
*She dresses herself every morning within 10 min of waking up. Her outfit usually consist of a sundress, pants, jacket, and shoes.
*She still says she is Pop's girl when asked.
* She talks nonstop! Her vocabulary grows everyday! She is, and has been, speaking in sentences.
*EG is a big eater! LOVES food! And any kind of it! She isn't picky in the least.

One baby....super sized please!

Little Hippie Momma!

She is a baby wearing, exclusive breastfeeding, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, attachment parenting, stay at home mommy:)!

Something is missing.....

Emery Jai's tooth! Our big girl lost her first tooth! I admit I cried and cried about it! She is growing so very fast! wasn't she just my tiny newborn, she was right? She told me her tooth was wiggly and I told her it wasn't, I was so wrong on that one! When I felt it was loose I cried! She (as well as the dragon & Boo) got to pick out a special toy at walmart. She was so big she didn't cry at all when I pulled it! The Dragon has been mad as a hornet since, she wants her tooth to be pulled! She has tried and tried to get one out! She is a NUT! I know she will be a snagle tooth in a short time too! Emery Jai is the cutest little gaped tooth kid EVER!

Sleepy Superhero!

How cute is he!?!?!!? Sweet as sugar.....while he is sleeping at least:)!

Say is isn't so!?!?!?!

My little miss is going to KINDERGARTEN! She had a week of testing and introduction to the school and her teachers! She LOVED it! She did very well, she takes after her Momma:)! EJ will get to participate in extra classes and projects because of her high test scores! Yes ma'am, this IS me bragging on my kiddo! We lucked into a really good zone, so far we are very pleased with the school. Praying that it stays that way:)! Although I am a bit nostalgic, her childhood is flying by, I am looking forward to all the fun that comes with school! Please pray for us as we enter this new and extremely exciting chapter!

Happy 4 Months Hollister Timothy!

Little ( I use that term loosely:)) is 4 months! He is such a wonderful baby! So very happy and easy going for the most part! He loves to be held and get loveins! He can sit up for short amounts of time and is reaching for EVERYTHING! He is super interested in food, not sure where we stand on that. I have always waited until at least 6 months, but *might* give in a wee bit earlier this time. Lucky Hollis. He is weighing a bit over 21 lbs on our home scales and is 29 inches long! HUGEEEEEEEE baby! He will take a bottle of pumped milk if he has to but prefers it straight from the source! He is very social, just like his older siblings at his age. He is still sleeping all night long! We finally got off our lazy rears and put up his baby bed, he did great! We are so blessed to have him as a part of our tribe!

Long Time No Blog..

Well, so much has gone on that really deserves separate post but I am just gonna smash it all together!
*EJ, G, & EG spent a whole week with Pop & NeNa! Boo had to come home and regroup one night. After that he did well :). The monkeys had a blast and told me they wanted to move in with Pop & NeNa, seriously. NeNa took them to VBS and they LOVED it! I went to the closing program. It was super sweet! Emery Jai and Guice did an awesome job! They both love preforming and being on stage! I am so glad they got to make these wonderful memories with Pop & NeNa! I use to stay with my Granny & Papa the week of VBS too! I wouldn't trade those memories for the world! Granny use to give us rolled coins for offering so it would weigh down the bucket more:).
*The dragon is potty trained, FINALLY! We had started a couple of times and kinda dropped the ball on it. Totally my fault. NeNa started taking her to the potty and she was using it so well when she got home she just went with it! She wouldn't wear any of her panties so NeNa had to go buy her some. Seriously, she ran around all day bare bottomed until NeNa got off work and delivered new undies:)! So excited to just have one kiddos in diapers! Except for night time of course:).

Jump Zone!

The kiddos and I had an awesome playdate with my best bud and her little man! The weather is sooooo hot and it is only June! The park at this point is out of the question! We found a great alternative, JUMP ZONE! It is amazing how different my kiddos are. Their personality differences were in full force at the jump zone. Emery Jai was upset the moment we walked in because there was not a princes jump house. She was determined not to have fun and sulk about it. Because it wasn't exactly what she wanted she wasn't happy about anything! She refused to try any of the slides and didn't want to play. I insisted, rather sternly:), and she got over it and had a blast! Guice is all boy! He was so excited to see Batman! He took to the jump houses immediately and played hard the whole time we were there! Evergrace loved it and is completely fearless. If the big kids were doing it so was she! Although, she wasn't a fan of sharing with the other kids, no surprise there she is very possessive.
Huge pirate ship!

Evergrace playing!!

Big Man!

Evergrace climbing up the HUGE slide!

Rodney, Guice, and Evergrace!

They all 4 LOVED this icecream truck! They are all piled in!

By far boo's favorite!
