31 WKS!
I am now EIGHT months! Very exciting! It is strange, I feel so close yet forever away from meeting this little one. I am sure once the pregnancy is over and I am holding that sweet little bundle of sheer joy, I will say it flew by. We have not settled on a name. I made a grave mistake. I created a poll on Baby Center, I do not recommend this those women are viscous! I know as long as we like it blah blah blah....... I just want the baby to like it too! I am having all the regular preggo symptoms: heartburn, backaches, pelvic pain, and so on and so forth. I no longer sleep at night, not so much fun. I am super hot, like heat radiating from inside! I did not experience this with Guice but did with EJ, must be a female fetus thing:). With EJ I slept with the a.c. full blast, it was December. Josh was so very cold he moved rooms! Now, almost June, it is much worse. Heat + no sleep = cranky Jess! We are in single digit count down! Unless, of course I go over which is a possibility. I went 10 days over with EJ, more than a month past full term. I do not want to focus to much on a date. This very well could be an August baby. She would be the only one of us without a "J" birthday month! My appointment with Dr. M is on Tuesday. Please be in prayer that I am measuring closer to 31 wks, that our baby is healthy.
A little bit about our monkey!
How your baby's growing:This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

This & That!
*EJ told us a couple of days ago that she needed $100 to spend on Hannah Montana. I had no idea she knew who she was. We do not have "shows" at our house. They are only allowed to watch certain movies, and only at nap time. So where she picked this up who knows!
*G then promptly asked for $100 and held out his hand.
*EJ & G like to have belly shots taken:).
*G had his first tick, he got mad that I took it off. He then asked for more!
*Emery Jai was bitten by fire ants, she never cried or complained! It hurt me way worse than her!
*EJ & G like to say "My Day!" Which to them means they get to pick out what movie we watch and what we eat. It is very funny to hear them fuss back and forth, they are now true siblings:)!
*EJ can't stand to pick up toys. She says anything to try and get out of it. Guice does not mind at all, he is my little helper!
*Guice loves Rollo's! This is super sweet to me because my Granny Nina loved Rollo's, she always had them in her purse. I also crave them like crazy when expecting.....it is just sweet.
*G can fill in words while we read, he says he is reading:). EJ is very quick to correct him, of course.
*EJ is having a fit for a dog. Memorial day at Papa & Memaw's there was a tiny mini-pin mix. EJ fell in love! That night while Josh and I were getting them to sleep. Josh noticed she was crying! I have to say Emery Jai is not a crier, screamer, yeller, you bet but she does not cry! I held her and she started telling us how badly she wanted a puppy, I thought her Daddy was going to go out right then and steal her one! I did what any good parent would do shift the responsibility. I told her that NeNa would be looking for a puppy store.
*G's favorite number is 2-8. Everything is 2-8.
*Emery Jai is very interested in time now. She ask what time it is 100 times a day, not at all annoying:)!

Memorial Day Weekend....
Well, it was a wash! It rained and rained! Saturday Joshua went fishing with his Dad and Brother. Josh left at 4 a.m.! CRAZY! Josh burnt to a crisp, he is fried. That night we went over to Papa & Memaw's for dinner, it was great. The kids loved hanging out with Ayden. Sunday, was like any other, church then nap then more church:). Monday we had big plans! We wanted to take the kids up on the mountain for a picnic and to ride the train. No such luck. It was wet and rainy! Instead we moved the kitchen table out of the way and had a picnic lunch on the floor! The kids thought it was the greatest thing! Josh took them to Wal-Mart to pick out what they wanted for lunch, they choose corn dogs and mac & cheese. We did decide that it would be very nice to be independently wealthy so we could both stay home! That would be the life:)!

The horse next door.....
The kids have made friends with our neighbors horse, and believe me she needs one. She is a good 30 lbs under weight, very sad! She is super sweet to the kids! They also have chickens which Guice loves, he has and will crawl over the fence if he gets a chance!
G is telling Daddy to "Look Look" at the chickens! EJ lovin' on her!

30 WEEKS!
30 Weeks, people! It seems so very close but, I have a ways to go! It could be as little as 7 weeks (don't worry I am not holding my breath:) or 12! But, we are getting there! I have nothing ready, not sure why. With the other two everything was almost done by now. I don't know why I would waste my time doing a nursery, the little monkey will sleep in our room. She needs absolutely NO clothes! NONE! EJ had a ton, they were barely worn, and several new things. I have bought a pair of shoes and one little dress but that is it! Just call it 3rd child syndrome, I guess! Or, more likely by the 3rd I know what is necessary, for us anyway. I have picked out a super cute diaper bag and I would like a new sling, but that is about it. I am starting to really feel pregnant, I am moving much slower and can't bend over. Josh would say that I am having mood swings and that I am overly sensitive but that is only his opinion:)! All part of it and very much worth it! I can't wait to see this one, maybe she will have brown eyes:)! Our on going joke is that I am not stopping until we get a brown eyed child.
30 wk belly!
I think I look a little like Humpty Dumpty, big huge belly walking around on (comparatively) little legs:)!

My Kids...
*EJ has several reasons why she does not want to go to school. Her main one is that they make you wear clothes all day.
*G thinks the baby is coming out my belly button!
*EJ refuses to take dance lessons because she already knows how to dance!
*G only wants to wear button down shirts that he calls jackets! That is it. NeNa and I purchased several yesterday. It is super hard to find button down short sleeved shirts! If you happen on some, send them my way!
*EJ carries a baby almost all places.
*G is super independent, wants to do all things by himself!
*EJ is just the same, forget helping. She is a big girl after all!
*They both order for themselves at restaurants.
*G can say all of his colors and really wants to learn them. We are just not 100% there yet, but close. He also loves singing his ABC's and "writing" his name.
*A couple of days ago EJ went around the house locking all the interior doors. She did not say a word, just laughed when we figured out what she had done. We had to take all the door knobs off!
*Their favorite movie is Egypt, it is a cartoon about Moses. G calls him Jesus. They love it.
*I am buying G a size 3T, EJ wears a size 5! They grow so fast! They both pick out what they would like to wear. EJ only wears dresses, when she wears clothes!

Hangin' Out With Pop!
This is by far Guice's favorite pastime, riding the "tractor" with Pop! He would stay on it constantly! He without a doubt takes after his namesake, he loves being outside, animals, and tractors!

Jump Zone!
Yesterday, NeNa skipped out of work a little early. She took us to Cracker Barrel, Jump Zone, and shopping! It was a blast! The kids loved the Jump Zone! My favorite part is that it is all inside, two words AIR CONDITIONING! Also, they have super energetic high school kids to play with your kids in the jumpy things! It really was a ton of fun. We will for sure be regulars when we visit Conway! EJ loved it so much the only pics I got were of the back of her head:)!
G having a blast! EJ can't wait to get in!

This & That!
I have not had a real post about what the kids are up to in forever! EJ & G are growing up so very fast! They are so amazing, smart, and sweet. No, really, not just because I am their momma:)!
*EJ tells me that she is going to pray for me when I send her to time-out. Also, on more than one occasion I have told her no only to have her tell me that Jesus told her it was okay.
*G spanked a total stranger last night, a grown man. G was hitting him saying spank spank. Mom & I think it was because the man was smoking.
*When we pray we ask the kids for request. They always want us to pray for Bella, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and the Barbies.
*Potty training is not going well for me, Guice loves it! He loves wearing undies and he loves tee teeing in them so he can pick a new pair! He will go in the potty but will not tell me when he needs to go, oh the frustration!
*G gets so mad when I make him wear a diaper! He cries, screams, and yells!
*Emery Jai is ready for our new little one to arrive. She loves picking things out for her. So far she has not shown signs of jealously, I am certain that will change.
*Guice is not so excited about it. In fairness EJ is a 2X big sibling, this is G's first time! EJ did not fair so well the first go-round:). It is hard to believe when EJ was G's age I had a 4 month old!
*Everything that Guice touches he makes sure is big! He wants a big ball, a big cookie, big shirt, everything must be big!
*If EJ or G want anything they ask to call Pop or NeNa! If we can't get a hold of one of them melt down city! They have asked for a puppy, a donkey, cookies, toys, you name it!
*I have started really talking to Guyboo about the baby. He has decided he would like mommy milk! He also has started nursing is babies, again.
*Emery Jai only wants to wear dresses and her play shoes. I can't remember the last time she wore shorts.
*G loves bugs picks them up constantly, even spiders!
*EJ told me my belly and bottom were the same, real big and huge!
*EJ tells the longest most involved stories, based only on a smidgen of truth. They have tons of detail. Her memory is amazing.
*G is speaking in 4 or more word phrases/sentences.
*EJ loves reading, she is getting frustrated that she does not know how. But, under no circumstance wants to go to school. We are working on her ABC's.
*G pretends to be animals. His favorite is a puppy.
*Guice calls himself Boo and Emery Jai is just Jai.
*They can be so sweet to each other, they hold hands when we are in stores or a parking lot! Other times they fight like wild things!
*G is so sweet, if he hears me groan of something he immediately ask me if I'm okay. He also helps me up!
*EJ told me that she had a mom across town that treated her much better, and was a nicer mom!
*EJ sleeps on her own bed at night (in our room), we are working on Guice.

They took her home last night and Guice and I are going to head out to Conway after church today. All I can say is WOOHOOO! I am ready for Arby's, Chick-Fil-A, Cracker Barrel, and of course seeing family and friends:)! We are planing to be back home in time for the weekend, my adorable nephew is coming in!

29 Wks!!
As of today I am 29 weeks! Almost time! In 8 weeks I will be full term, crazy! I really feel the need to start getting things ready for this little one. A little nesting, I guess. I am hungry all the time. I feel like I could eat 24/7! I crave red meat! I usually cook tons of chicken but here lately it has been meat. Joshua is enjoying it:). I am also craving onions and peppers. She moves constantly, now her movements are noticeable just by looking at my belly.
A little about our newest monkey:)
Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.
I know this is my 3rd, but growing a baby is never mundane, regardless if it is your first of tenth. In my opinion anyway!

28 Week Appointment!!
Our little girl looked great! Heart rate was in the 130's. Fundal measurement was high, 32 cm's and should be much closer to 28.I have always (even with the other 2) measured a bit big, but only by 1 or 2 cm's not 4! I go back in 3 wks (they are out of town in 2, the regular time to go back. I could have gone back next week, but it seemed a little soon:)) if still measuring that large I will have a scan. I am not a huge fan of having a growth scan, they can be off by 20%. But, it will also check the amniotic fluid level, if it is too high it can be a sign there is an issue with the baby. Wasn't it just a couple of weeks that my fluid levels were low? This little one is keeping us on our toes for sure:)! I gained weight, not the anticipated 20 but close 15:)! Total gain....20 lbs! Not too bad! My swelling has gone done considerably and my blood pressure was great 100/65! I had the wonderful glucose screening.....no results yet. I am guessing no news is good news, just kidding! I will be calling first thing tomorrow. I did not have gestational diabetes in my previous pregnancies so I am not too concerned, but there is a first time for everything!
Somewhere around 78 days to go!

OKAY....
We have another name issue......turns out there is already a baby named Ever Anderson! Her mom is Milla Jovovich, she is a singer. I knew the kids name was Ever but had NO clue the last name was Anderson. CRAZY! So now what? Do I risk people asking me if I named my baby after her? Do we come up with a completely different name? I am not quite sure we might be back at square one. I haven't talked to Joshua yet. He is asleep, like all other normal people. I am having terrible heartburn, seriously can't lay down. So, I am enjoying (or was until I found a kid with my kid's name!) some alone time!
I realize most of you think I am crazy for even caring but naming a baby is a huge deal to me! So for now Ever Grace is on hold......

Rainy Day Fun!
Two weeks of rain! I have to admit I am at my wits end! I am running out of ideas for these little ones. We have played, in my opinion, too much play-doh:). They have played in the sink, with rice and measuring cups, we have had fashion shows, puppet shows, you name it we have done it! All they really want to do is go outside and play! Other than 1 trip to the park we have been cooped up! It is time to get out!!

BLING!!
First, I must say, it is not real....sad but true:)! I had to replace my original (plain white gold band) size 7 with a 10! My swelling is so bad! Josh had to help me pry my ring off with dawn and lots of turning and pulling! The skin around and under my ring was super irritated, gross really. I went around for a day or so with no ring, it drove me crazy! So, I picked up this little number, it was a steal at $7! Not bad for major bling! Now I am hoping my finger doesn't turn green and fall off!
