Guice is walking about 30% of the time now! This is not the best example but it will have to do. EJ is so funny she wants to "help" him. My baby is getting way too big:(!
When Guice nods his head yes and no it is more like a slight convulsion:). He nods all over! He can also say yes and no, but not on command apparently...
EJ loves to dance! Her favorite song is I like to move it off the Madagascar sound track. We are planing for her to be in dance this fall. I am very excited about it!
The first person you hear is Guice, he is saying Pirate! It is one of his favorite things to say. Josh first thought that it was EJ saying it. Guice is so clear when he talks. He is talking up a storm at only 11 months. Who would have thought that Josh and I would have a talker:)? He is up to about 15 words.
The other day EJ used water and cardboard to make a picture of fireworks! She is super creative! She brought me the picture and said "Look Mom I made fireworks!" 
Today I am 29! I am not dealing well. I know the politically correct thing is to own it, embrace my old age. I am not feeling it today...maybe tomorrow but not today!
I am boycotting my day!

*Emery Jai's favorite Jockey at the moment is Joe Talamo. She calls herself Jockey Joe Talamo. She even tries to get Guice to say it. He is saying a few words but that is a at least a couple of months away, I think:).
*Emery Jai loves to get her own water from the refrigerator because she is a big girl now, according to her!
*Guice can get off of our bed all by himself now! I heard him fussing and took off running for him as usual. If I did not get there in time he would just fall off the bed. I found him crawling down the hall!
*Emery Jai will not stay in her class at church. She uses all kinds of excuses her back hurts, they are crazy, and it is too hot in there have all been used to her advantage. She likes to go to Mommy and Daddy's class (big church).
*Guice loves his class. Never cries and took a nap in a CRIB!
*Guice blows on all of his food. Even though he rarely eats anything hot. His diet mostly consists of a variety of cheese and fruit.
*Emery Jai saw a birthday party on T.V. and said "Hey, that is my party! Take me there, they are eating my cake!"
*Emery Jai is convinced that she is going to be able to color her hair once she turns 3, she would like to have pink.
*EJ loves to check her web sites. She also checks and replies to emails:).
*Guice loves to turn the computer off and bang on the key board.
*Guice can go up and down stairs by himself.
*Guice is walking more now. Taking several steps at once.
*Guice is forward facing now, he has been for several weeks. I felt so sorry for him burning up facing backwards. He is meeting all of milestones for a one year old and met the weight requirement so we decided to cheat and turn him forward facing! He loves it.
*Emery Jai likes to order for herself at restaurants. She looks at the pictures to pick out what she would like.
*EJ is a backseat driver. She likes to give directions! She will say "Go two miles then take a left and the next street."
*Emery Jai told me that NoNo and I could be her bridesmaids at her pink wedding birthday party.
*EJ has us toast our glasses before we eat, as most things, I have no clue where she got this.
*She thinks history is a bad word, she calls guyboo history.
*We were watching Dumbo, when the storks brought the babies Emery Jai was not impressed. She knew that that was not the way mommies got babies. She said "It does not work that way."
*Guice is mimicking us. He holds the phone to his ear babbles and then says bye bye. He also likes to brush his hair. But, my favorite is when he "reads" books. He holds them up and turns the pages while babbling.

The kids and I were running around the other day when EJ noticed a Caterpillar (as in construction equipment, Pop taught her the proper name for it). EJ said "Hey, Mom see that Caterpillar?" I said "Yes" She then asked when a man was going to drive it. I saw this as an opportunity to insert a little gender equality and said "Maybe a women is going to drive it, women operate machinery also." To which EJ replied "Nope, women don't work they stay home with the kids." I then tried to convince her that women do work, "What about NeNa, she works." EJ had an answer for that "Not when she is taking care of me." Later that night I was telling Erica the story and said that I was raising June Cleaver, EJ picked up on it right away and said "I am June Cleaver!" I have worked really hard trying to convince her that some mom's do work. She always gets upsets and says "No Daddy works and Mommy stays home with me and Guy-boo!" From time to time she still declares herself to be June Cleaver.
*EJ is such a mess, nothing new. What is new is her obsession of weddings and wanting to have one. She says she is having a pink wedding birthday party in January complete with flowers and a veil.
*EJ is not happy at all with Guice's upcoming party. She says it is her party. I am more than a little worried about how she will behave when the party comes around. I have a feeling Miss EJ will be spending the majority of the party in time out.
*Guice shakes his head no while saying it to us all the time.
*Emery Jai still loves Spider Man and says she is going to marry him.
*Emery Jai ask almost everyday to go to High School because she wants to learn.
*Guice is a climber he can scale almost anything!
*Guice does not like to eat in his highchair, he prefers to eat in a real chair. He is such a big boy!
*EJ is still in the bed with us. Her sleeping in her own bed did not last long at all. We are encouraging her to make the leap to her own bed, but she is not that enthused.
*Guice sings all the time and loves to dance.
*Emery Jai will see something on TV and then demand that she get it. Everything from Pizza Hut to a Home Depot gift card.
*Emery Jai refers to herself in third person, she will say "What is Emery Jai doing?"
*EJ now Kung Fu Pandas us. She runs up to us and kicks us, hard!
*Guice is a cuddle bug, he loves to be held and rocked.
*Emery Jai wants to go somewhere every single day. If we happen to stay home one whole day (the injustice:) she flips out.
*Emery Jai prays and it is so funny. She says "God Thanks for it all, Amen!" I try to get her to name things specifically and she says "That is just too hard."
*Guice is a fighter. He kicks, hits, and pulls EJ's hair a lot. He is a tad aggressive.
Guice's birthday party is going to be on August the 16th at Pop & NeNa's house! There will be invitations sent, but later than I would like. I ordered them today and always seem to forget how long it takes to get them. So, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about the date!
Can't wait to see everyone there!
We had a great 4th of July! The kids loved the fireworks! We ended up just watching from our house. My neighbors really out did themselves! At one point we went inside, EJ pulled her stroller up to the back door (it is a glass door) to watch. She kept telling me that the fireworks were all for her:)! Guice was not bothered by the noise at all, he loved them and fell asleep while he watched the display.

You have some explaining to do?!?!?! I have NO clue where EJ got this she just started saying it after she got back from AR. The only thing I can figure is that Pop & NeNa were buying loto tickets, beer, & smokes! Next time EJ is in AR I will have to set some ground rules!
